One Donation, One Tree, One Future : Support YELCC Against Desertification 🌍🌱

Niger is facing an unprecedented climate emergency: more than 100,000 hectares of land are lost every year due to desertification, threatening agriculture, biodiversity, and the food security of millions of people.

In response, YELCC (Young Emergency Leaders for Climate Change) is launching a national fundraising campaign to support its first major initiative focused on reforestation, climate awareness, and youth mobilization.

🎯 Our goal: Raise €25,000 (≈ 16.5 million FCFA) to finance concrete actions starting in 2025:

🌍 Plant 5,000 trees in areas most affected by desertification.

👩‍🎓 Train 500 young people on climate resilience practices and environmental leadership.

🏘️ Establish 20 youth volunteer clubs for the environment in neighborhoods and schools.

🧹 Organize 10 urban sanitation campaigns to improve hygiene and reduce plastic waste.
